I've always called Jenny Farber by her more appropriate moniker:Powerhouse. From the first time you meet her you can see why. She has nothing but beaming confidence and joy to see you. Her abundantenergy propels you along in the intense and varied workouts she puts you through. Jenny has a seemingly endless love for what she does and the people she does it with. She turns working out into aneagerly-anticipated activity and her intensity and passion for health and fitness are contagious. You can't find a better trainer to partner with or a better partner to train with.
When I first inquired about training with Jenny I had been going to the gym on my own for four years with very limited results. I had goals to lose weight and start leading a healthier lifestyle. Jenny showed me that training and getting into shape can be exciting instead of boring or a chore. Although it was challenging at first, Jenny's training style was fun and no two days were the same. The kettle bell workouts, core training, and nutritional advice she gave me have not only helped with rapid weight loss results but have motivated me to change into a healthier person over all. I now get excited to train instead of going through the motions. The experience has been phenomenal and at 32 years old I feel better than ever!
I had the opportunity to train with Jenny and experience her remarkable kettle bell workout. She has obviously spent time and care in constructing this workout program, and has managed a good thing - making kettle bells accessible to all levels of fitness for both men and women. Jenny’s kettle bell workout was an excellent alternative to a long cardio session, which left me drained yet wanting more. She was very attentive to my performance and within minutes, was able to identify my strengths and weaknesses. I highly recommend any PT session/program with Jenny no matter what your fitness goals may be.
It gives me great pleasure to write a reference for Jenny Farber. She is a superb trainer, a lovely person, and very sensitive to individual needs. I am a woman over 78 years old . I have been active all my life. But some injuries, and the years, started to create real discomfort. I went to Physical Therapy which did not do much. The sciatic pain increased, also lower back pain. After some searching I found Jenny. We started slowly with gentle movements. I tottered on the BOSU, and barely could do one lunge let alone a series. She worked with the core strength in the abs. I never felt even a twinge from the sciatic area. She knew what I could do better than I did.! My strength increased very rapidly, as did my endurance. After 6 weeks I was learning to handle the Kettle Bells, which I enjoy hugely. To my relief I have regained much of the balance I had lost while being inactive. Now I can hop on my own BOSU anytime, without fear or assistance. Jenny understands the issues of older people without making you feel "old." And she works diligently to find the right method for just you! Jen is a treat to work with. Her knowledge is so substantial, and she makes it all fun too!
I initially came to Jenny, wanting a training program to run a half marathon. Running was fairly new to me; I had been a dancer my whole life, but because of an injury, had to find an alternate way to stay in shape. The nutritional advice and support I’ve received from Jenny has helped me to maintain a weight that is healthy for me, and I have more energy now than I have in years. The training we do is always changing. Jenny has taught me that it is important to always challenge myself, and not get stuck always doing the same workout. Whether it is kettle bells, cardio, strength training ,injury preventative exercises, or dance conditioning. Jenny is always teaching me something new, and she is truly an expert in this field. I have seen significant improvements in my muscle tone and in my strength, and her motivation keeps me motivated to push myself further. My experience working with Jenny has really been life changing, and I am stronger now than I ever believed I would be.
I first met Jenny Farber as this FIRECRACKER when cast in the show Entertainment Tonight, Special Edition Live. I had never seen such energy and power on the stage. As I soon realized, that fire was alive on and off the stage. Jenny helped myself and many others any time we struggled with choreography, she was more than a team player......a born leader. My second show cast Jenny as dance captain and she took charge of the position with a motivational energy that left all empowered and focused. Shortly after I opened a small studio and knew the only method of success was to add her to the staff. Although being a new small business was tough, Jen went above and beyond the call of duty. She has always been inspiring to myself, my students, and most anyone whom has had the pleasure of working with her. She taught me a lot about myself, to push my limits, to look beyond what I thought was possible, to dream big, and to work hard. I can't imagine a more motivated or motivational person!
As a former Div-I college baseball player and a United States Air Force Special Operations officer, I have had the luxury of training with some of the most elite players and soldiers around the world. Being used to training with and being trained by other Special Operations behemoths, I was a little skeptical about what this petite, yet clearly athletic, trainer could do. However, it did not take long for me to remember not to judge a book, or in this case a class, by its cover. Jenny tailored a workout that challenged every single student, no small feat considering the class covered the spectrum from college-aged females to what appeared to be 75 yr-old grandfathers and every size, shape, and age in between. Jenny's professionalism, communication, and ability to motivate were top-notch. In a world full of people that skate by, it was refreshing to find someone that takes such pride in their work. Never before have I seen this much dedication from a personal trainer, and I know that she has set the bar for me to judge every other trainer by. I proudly give Jenny my highest recommendation. It has been a privilege knowing and working with her.
